Quilts for Heroes

Since 2005 a small group of dedicated quilters made and presented more than 700 quilts to our wounded heroes, at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, Washington, DC and Harford County Maryland area. We are blessed to be associated with the Aberdeen Proving Ground Post Chapel, our quilts are a small token of our deep appreciation for the life changing sacrifices warriors make while serving our Country. New project includes making quilts for Fisher House facilities.

So, it's 5:24 AM and I'm thinking of taking a nap. I went to sleep at about 11:30 and was back up at 1:30 to work on this.

I have a few more blocks to make before putting it together and I'm toying with the idea of adding a few trees.  Thoughts?

So many ideas and not enough hours in a day.......
